Your patients' health records, financial transactions, prescriptions, x-rays, and clinical history belong exclusively to you. DentX operates completely offline. We do not collect, transmit, upload, or store any of your patient data on external cloud servers. All database records are stored locally on your own computer systems or local area network (LAN).
To facilitate software delivery, licensing validation, and customer support, we collect the following minimal data:
Payment transactions are processed securely through certified third-party payment gateways (Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, or Sofizpay depending on your region). We do not collect or store your credit card details or payment credentials on our systems.
Since data remains offline on your hardware, the physical and digital security of the patient database depends on your security practices (e.g., local computer passwords, firewalls, operating system updates, and storage backups). We recommend performing regular database backups to an external storage drive.
